Well, for starters I would like to tell you that I really wanted this to happen because I really loved the characters and their personalities. There are not many animes which are purely based just romance in a normal school setting and be good but this takes the spot. After watching Zutto Mae Kara Suki Deshita I always wanted for it to be converted into anime series so, you have my gratitude HoneyWorks!
Ok, now starting with the story line well its not about all three couples its about Haruki Serizawa and Aida Miou. If you don't remember them then Haruki is the blonde hair guy and Miou is the shy brown haired girl.
In the beginning it showed about both the characters being interested in each other. It started from the school's entrance ceremony where they first met each other. From that time they always were together but denied being in relationship. I mean, you see and realize that what they are doing is dating but they are not in a relationship, that's kinda silly but cute.
Haruki is well a good movie director and aims for going to study in America through scholarship and by his achievements, I feel that he can. Now, moving on to Miou, I guess she is one of those anime female characters who are not confident in themselves and will be cheered up by a boy,and in this case Haruki seems the cheer person, Ha Ha!
As both Haruki and Miou are often seen together so they are made fun of but Haruki steps up against of it which makes Miou fall for him again. Meanwhile, we come to know about new character which is Haruki's brother Akechi (I guess). I don't know but I have sort of a bad feeling about what we are going to know about him but I hope this isn't true.
Now finally in the first episode's ending scene, Haruki is finally irritated with Miou's Under-confident nature and asks her to believe herself more and comes a bit close to her and embarrassed by his actions he looks away and apologizes. Now there is silence between them and to break it Miou asks Haruki if he likes someone, and Haruki replies yes and vice-versa. With this I am pretty sure that they like each other but they can't seem close to each other and thats where the title come that "We are always 10 cm apart".
